Focus Perspectives was created by Dr. Jaime Pack-Adair, to serve the needs of students with visual impairments and other disabilities. Dr. Pack-Adair has over 25 years of experience in education as both a general education and special education teachers, and as a teacher of students with visual impairments.
Dr. Pack-Adair, or Dr. Jaime as some of her students call her, earned her doctorate in Special education. Her qualifications include teaching, working as an intervener with deafblind students, studying cortical visual impairment in depth, and supporting students with a variety of additional disabilities. Dr. Pack-Adair has spent over 15 years working with students with severe and profound disabilities.
